Four groups of Lithuanian art teachers are looking for placements in Berlin schools with formal cultural education programmes and cultural institutions.

Interships schedule:

•    Group 1 – 18–24 January •    Group 2 – 8–14 February •    Group 3 – 22–28 February •    Group 4 – 22–28 March

Requirements for the institutions to be visited in Berlin: during the stay, the groups aim to visit at least two schools and at least one state cultural institution where formal cultural education and/or cultural education projects have been developed and implemented for no less than three years. The programme should also provide opportunities to observe practical activities aimed at improving teachers’ cultural education competencies, using innovative tools and processes, in accordance with a prepared training curriculum.

The training programme should be identical for all groups.

The aim of the placement is to strengthen teachers’ competencies in the field of cultural education by applying contemporary theatre methods in the learning process, adopting cultural education models used in Germany, and gaining new knowledge and practical experience in removing learning barriers, creating inclusive learning environments, and organising innovative cultural activities that contribute to improving student outcomes.

Each group consists of 15 teachers (a total of 60 teachers across the four groups).
All participating teachers work with students aged 14–18, and all four groups require the same programme.

We have a budget to cover all organisational costs.
